We almost made CNN

We almost made CNN!
A couple of days ago I pulled up to the pump to get some gas, filled 'er up, went to the booth to pay, and was greeted with the following..."DumbAss".   I said, 'Are you talking to me'?  'Are YOU talking to ME'?  Quoting DeNiro is a great way to calm people down.  No, the attendant wasn't talking to me...or even about me.  Seems, just moments earlier, a customer spilled gas on the ground...and in an attempt to clean up the mess, struck a match, and lit the spill ON FIRE in order to burn it off.  Yes, he lit the gas on fire...at a gas station...with 1000's of litres of gasoline just below.   Fortunately no damage was done, nor was there an apocalyptic explosion.
Guess we'll  just have to wait til his next fill-up to make CNN...DumbAss!

Don't you just love the colour green?

It's finally here...the week virtually all golfers have been waiting for...Masters Week has arrived!  Could this be the year Mike Weir once again gets fitted for the famed green jacket?  Or is it the year of the Tiger once more?  Regardless, high-definition televisions everywhere will be tuned to the tournament all weekend long.  And in case you're wondering about the uneasy smile in the accompanying pic...my long dreamed of pilgrimage to the legendary Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia...never got past the front gate.
