	Local News 2 Fort Erie elementary schools to close Siobhan Morris, 610 CKTB News 5/9/2012 2 Fort Erie elementary schools will close at the end of next school year. District School Board of Niagara trustees have voted to lock up Fort Erie Elementary & Rose Seaton Public School for good in August 2013. The board estimates closing the schools will save them over $540 000/year. Fort Erie Elementary students south of the QEW will land at Garrison Road Public School. Everyone else go to General Vanier, which will get a $4.5-millionrenovation to accommodate the extra students in 5 new classrooms.
