Police launch phone survey

Niagara Regional Police want to know what you think of their service.

Next week KG Research will start randomly dialling homes in the region, asking them to take part in the NRP's community satisfaction survey.

1000 homes will take part in the survey that should take about 15 minutes to complete.

Dr Paul Divers, a corporate analyst with the NRP says the results are to help pull together the service's 3-year business plan.

Respondents will be asked questions including how they find out about the activities of Niagara Regional Police, their perception of community safety & police's response to crime & whether or not they've been victimized themselves.

Divers will analyze the date in July.  In August, police will host a series of focus groups to see how the survey results line up with what the wider community has to say.  If you don't get a call for the survey, you can chime in during those community sessions.
