EZ Summer Events

The 105.7 EZ Summer Cruiser is hitting the streets this summer. The Cruiser will be attending concerts, community and charity events. Holly Wilson is our summer events reporter and she will have plenty of sampling products from The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario.

¤SATURDAY, JULY 5th¤

♦WHAT: Fundraiser Car Wash

♦WHERE: Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School - Ridge Road in Ridgeway

♦WHEN: 9am start

♦INFO: The Senior Girls Volleyball Team is holding a garage sale and car wash fundraiser. Money raised will help send this team to a tournament in Hawaii for the March Break 2009. Come out and support the biggest little high school in Ontario!

♦WHAT: Ridgeway Summer Festival

♦WHERE: Ridge Road - Ridgeway

♦WHEN: 9am start

♦INFO: This Ridgeway Summer Festival will bring two days of fun and entertainment. Don't miss the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast (both Saturday & Sunday), crafters, wildlife displays, clowns, horse show and an auction on Saturday beginning at 1pm. The Kinsmen Club's Annual Street Dance will begin at 7pm.

♦WHAT: 33rd Port Dalhousie Lions Carnival

♦WHERE: Lakeside Park - Port Dalhousie

♦WHEN: 9am - 11pm

♦INFO: Come to Lakeside Park in historic Port Dalhousie for the annual Lion's Carnival. Fun for the whole family with midway rides, including the 5 cent carousel. Gate entrance is free. The carnival runs July 1-6.

¤SUNDAY, JULY 6th¤

♦WHAT: Canal Fest Car Show

♦WHERE: Lock 8 Park - Main Street W. - Port Colborne

♦WHEN: 8:15am - 11pm

♦INFO: Up to 250 antique cars will be on display, competing for cash and prizes at the 14th Annual Canal Fest Car Show. Plenty of crafters and artisans will also be there. Cost is $3, children 12 and under are free with adult.

♦WHAT: Ontario Sausage Festival

♦WHERE: Lipa Park - Fonthill

♦WHEN: 2pm - 10pm

♦INFO: Grammy Award Winner Walter Ostanek will perform with dancing in the outdoor pavilion, sausage tasting, BBQ, refreshments and other foods. Adult admission applies, 15yrs and under are free.
