Boris, the stuffed bulldog, got a taste of good ol' Canadian hospitality when his owner lost him during a stay at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Vancouver, BC.
“I always sleep with a stuffed animal because it just helps me sleep, it’s just comfortable, so I always bring him along,” Annalise Vredeveldt told CTV news. “I just came home one day after the conference and he used to be on the bed, and he wasn’t on the bed.”
After arriving back in Holland, thinking her stuffed dog was lost forever, Annalise received a package in the mail with Boris and an envelope full of photos, showing her beloved little Boris having the time of his life celebrating Canada Day at the hotel!
“It’s one thing to get your stuffed toy back, I mean, that’s great service, but to actually get him back with all these pictures is just really funny and really sweet,” she said to CTV news. “It kind of confirmed what I already though about Canadians. They’re super nice and just very chilled out.”
